In the scope of the recent changes in the flamenco scene, Myrddin is quite an excentric genius. He grew up in a family of artists and  jazz musicians, in a lively house with an unhealthy amount of instruments available.
Completing the family legacy by studying in Spain with the likes of Manolo Sanlucar, Gerardo Nunez or Rafael Riqueni, he not only achieved a phenomenal technical virtuosity but developed a very personal style of contemporary flamenco. His compositions, denoting unlimited creativity, have been enriched by diverse collaborations with musicians of different backgrounds – Bow Quartet, Jef Neve, Tineke Postma, Gabriel Rios, Michael Bezverkhny, Wannes Van de Velde, Maya Youssef, …

Myrddin will be playing at Trefpunt Friday the 5th of April. (22:30 > 23:15)
