Taxiwars

TaxiWars is the joint venture by Tom Barman, frontman of the legendary indie rockband dEUS, and Robin Verheyen, New York based saxophone wizard with top jazz credentials. Since early 2016 the acoustic powerquartet has been a much acclaimed attraction at clubs, concert venues and festivals of all sorts and genres, often in front of standing audiences and dancing crowds. Their songs, all co-written by Barman and Verheyen, breath the raw energy of rock and the exhilarating pulse of jazz, – with Barman’s electrifying vocals and Verheyen’s no-nonse saxophone outings propelled by the relentless rhythm engine of Nic Thys and Antoine Pierre.

Their third album is scheduled for international release on the N.E.W.S. label in September 2019, with the band available for touring thoughout 2019 and 2020.
